The Most Important Commandment.
“Teacher, which is the
most important commandment in the law of Moses?”
Jesus replied, “‘You
must love the Lord your God with all of your soul,all of your heart, and all of
your mind.’ This is the only first and
greatest commandment. Second is equally important that: ‘Love your neighbor as
yourself.’ The total law and all demands of the prophets are depend on these
two commandments. (Matthew
22:36-40)
